Enter Shikari will hit NYC with their sound and bring along Can’t Swim as support.
As I get myself in gear for the upcoming and rapidly approaching NY Comic Con, I was glad to see a few tour announcements since that leaves some good stuff for the readers while we are running around the Javits Center. I’m going to try and get some things queued up just the same so you don’t think I forgot about you. Anyway, here is the skinny from the band Enter: Shikari.
The Press Release:
Marking their highest debut on the UK album charts at #5, British rock mavericks ENTER SHIKARI have delivered their most critically-acclaimed and genre-bursting album, THE SPARK (release date: Sept. 22, 2017 via Play it Again Sam/Ambush Reality). In the U.S., it debuted at #22 on Billboard’s Current Alternative Album Chart.
Enter Shikari launched their North American campaign with a sold-out show at NYC’s Rough Trade on Saturday, September 30th and intimate, acoustic performances with Paste and Billboard (the band plays Hard Luck in Toronto, ON tonight). On the heels of this surge, the band has announced their North American tour in support of the album. Kicking off on January 19, 2018 at Austin’s The Mohawk, the tour will circle around the continent including shows in Orlando (1/22 @ The Social), DC (1/28 @ 9:30 Club), Brooklyn (2/2 @ Music Hall of Williamsburg) and Toronto (2/6 @ Lee’s Palace). Tickets go on sale Friday, October 6 at 12:00pm Local Time. (full tour dates below).
