Season 4 Recap: Bruce Wayne is a masked vigilante, patrolling Gotham’s streets at night. Cobblepot begins a campaign to dominate the city’s underworld by profiting off licensed crime, Nygma finds his mental faculties diminished as a side-effect of having been flash-frozen, Jonathan Crane is seen embracing his role as the Scarecrow, the League of Shadows begin their next plot involving an ancient embalming knife, Ivy Pepper taking drugs from an apothecary which transform her again, and Butch Gilzean becomes Solomon Grundy after his comatose body was dumped into Slaughter Swamp. A new criminal known as Professor Pyg shows up putting Gotham into chaos until it is revealed he has been working with Falcone’s daughter Sofia to take down Penguin which she succeeds in doing while having Penguin sent to Arkham where he meets Jerome Valeska. Eventually after Sofia is taken down by Gordon, Jerome Valeska, Jervis Tetch, and Jonathan Crane escape from Arkham along with others and team up with Victor Fries, Bridget Pike, Penguin, and Solomon Grundy to create a supervillain team known as the Legion of Horribles to bring madness and destruction to Gotham which leads to Jerome’s brother Jeremiah Valeska undergoing a chemical transformation. In addition, the energies that Ra’s al Ghul placed in Barbara Kean called the rest of the League of Shadows to her as the female members pledge their loyalty to her. Eventually, Jeremiah Valeska and Ra’s al Ghul’s plans plunge Gotham City into a no man’s land causing it to be evacuated while the different villains start claiming their territory in Gotham City. The CW Network Unveils “Elseworlds” Crossover Poster & Clips

warner brothers television, elseworlds

The CW Network has been giving us some great DC Comics superhero shows with “Arrow”, “The Flash”, “Supergirl” and “Legends Of Tomorrow”. They also gave us “Black Lightning” not too long ago but that show doesn’t happen in the same universe as the other four do. Now its time for the annual multi-show crossover event and this year The Legends are not taking part in it but we should be fine without them as they deliver “Elseworlds”. Check out the cool poster down below.

They’ve also delivered some quick teaser clips which I’ve added down below as well.

Tonight: “Legends Of Tomorrow” Season 4 Premiere On The CW Network (10/22/2018)

It was interesting to find The CW Network making us wait so long for all of the superhero shows but now that there are something like six of them, it makes sense to parse them out to not overwhelm the viewers. If you’ve not been paying attention, we’ve already touched upon the premieres of “Supergirl”, “Arrow”, “Black Lightning” and “The Flash” in posts of their own and ALL of these shows exist in the same universe of characters with the only exception being Black Lightning. Let’s take a glance at the cool season poster, the last season recap and some old and new casting.

Season 3 Recap: In season three, the team discover that they created anachronisms throughout time, and Rip has formed the Time Bureau to help fix them. Rip tells the team of the demon Mallus, whose follower Nora Darhk has resurrected her father Damien and Amaya’s granddaughter Kuasa, also recruiting Gorilla Grodd so that they can release Mallus from his prison by perverting history. The team loses both members of Firestorm, but is joined by Zari Tomaz, a hacktivist from 2042 whose air-controlling amulet is connected to Amaya’s totem, and Wally West / Kid Flash, a speedster formerly under the tutelage of the Flash.

Tonight: “Arrow” Season 7 Premiere On The CW Network (10/15/2018)

Though “Arrow” was the first of this group of DC Comics live-action superhero shows, it’s premiere comes after “The Flash”, “Black Lightning” and “Supergirl” which I found a little surprising. Anyway, the shows seventh season begins tonight and I’ve secured the dramatic poster along with a recap of the previous season doings and some casting. Let’s go.

Season 6 Recap: In season six, after an explosive battle on Lian Yu, Oliver must balance being a vigilante, the mayor, and a father to his son William. At the same time, new enemies emerge, initially led by hacker Cayden James, who puts together a team with drug dealer Ricardo Diaz, metahuman vigilante Vincent Sobel, Russian mobster Anatoli Knyazev, and Black Siren. As James loses control of his cabal, Ricardo Diaz comes to the fore, announcing to Green Arrow his scheme to take over Star City’s criminal underworld and control the city’s political infrastructure, all while Oliver must contend with his former teammates forming a rival team. As Diaz takes control of the city, Oliver is forced to recruit the aid of the FBI, in exchange for him publicly announcing his identity and going to federal prison. In the finale, Oliver is imprisoned in a supermax penitentiary. (c/o Wiki).
