The Press Release:
McFarlane Toys, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and DC, today revealed images and details of the highly anticipated new DC Multiverse collector figure line by McFarlane Toys, available in both mass and specialty retailers beginning January 2020.
The new DC Multiverse collector line features incredibly detailed 7-inch figures designed with an impressive 22 points of articulation. Each figure comes with a collectable card that has character-specific art and biography, multiple accessories, and a display base. MSRP is $19.99 to $24.99 USD for each figure.
“McFarlane Toys has kept the DC Multiverse action figure line-up and images top-secret, but today I’m thrilled to show fans, collectors and big kids, like me, the incredible range of DC Super Hero and Super-Villain character designs that our team has created just for them to bring home,” said Todd McFarlane, Creative Force and CEO of McFarlane Toys. As previously mentioned in THIS POST, The PiercingMetal Media Outlet is on point exploring the American International Toy Fair and I am continuing along with the visuals found at the DC Collectibles booth. If you missed the first chapter for any reason please click HERE to see if all from the beginning. Once you’re done you can return here to finish our media appointment with us. There is so much in this booth that I must have for myself but fortunately the space in my apartment will not allow it. I need a man cave my friends.
As previously discussed in THIS POST, The PiercingMetal Media Outlet is once again exploring the American International Toy Fair. I’ve added in both Dark Horse and IAmElemental so far and that post link above will bring you to the rundown of who has been added to our extensive coverage. I’m going to continue along with one of my favorite places to see at the convention which is the DC Collectibles booth. Take a look and know that I will mostly be letting the images do the talking here. You’re welcome 🙂
When I went to the local comic book shop to check out the new titles for the week, I took notice of the racks of action figures and saw that a few new characters in the “DC Superhero Girls” line was now available. Considering that I think this is a fantastic idea to get more girls into the comics and action figures as a whole, I felt sharing the images of the items was a good idea since we are rapidly approaching the gifting season. Thanksgiving is now around the corner and before you blink it will be Christmas and Chanukah and I want you ready to get some heroic goodness out to the ones you love.
I actually saw my first glimpse of this action figure line by Mattel when I visited the Play Fair portion of the American International Toy Fair earlier this year. My overview of that specific aspect can be examined on my PiercingKen.com site with THIS LINK so do please check it out. Now since these were on the racks I could only get this kind of photo but they are nice and clear and very legible. I don’t think that I need to name the characters since so many are instantly identifiable as well. Each figure is about 6″ tall and comes with an accessory of some sort. Here we go.
Continuing our series of posts from the 2015 Toy Fair, I am happy to present to you the findings in the DC Direct booth. They had a wonderful assortment of action figures, busts, statues, props and even some plush items that I think many fans of these characters will enjoy for years to come. There’s a lot of photos here and I will only be “speaking” lightly so check it out.
