The 2019 New York Comic Con began yesterday at the Javits Center and now its time to start sharing the visuals that were snagged on the first day of the event. This would mark the ninth year that PiercingMetal was attending the convention and I would once again be representing this medium as a member of the Pop Culture Press. Those who have enjoyed these narratives over the years will already know how I break up the coverage into a number of chapters with no more than “50” images in every post. I do this to allow for easier digestion and tagging and for those who are dressed in amazing cosplay to be able to find themselves. Once the Day One photos are done its onto Day Two and so on until I pass out from exhaustion. My plan is to hit all four days barring some emergency need of my time so let’s get this party started shall we? I won’t be chiming in on every single photo but only when the need for some text is warranted and before we head into the fray, those attending might want to peruse this handy list of guidelines that I compiled over on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken” – Trust me it will help you out (click HERE). Onward we go.
As mentioned the other day in THIS POST, The PiercingMetal Media Outlet would once again be exploring the American International Toy Fair and to start this visual party off right let’s take a look at what was being presented by the fine folks at Dark Horse. Their collectibles this year focused on the “Witcher” and “Game Of Thrones” properties and this stuff is exceptional. Take a look.
As we’ve noted a couple of days ago, the PiercingMetal website was once again exploring the American International Toy Fair, or very simply Toy Fair. Now it’s time to begin loading in all of the amazing companies that we stopped by to see and share their offerings. Let’s begin the journey with the folks at Dark Horse who over the years have impressed us time and time again. Here we go.
While I am not the biggest gamer, I have heard about the “Witcher” game and it looks great. These exquisite statues are representative of their license for it. I need to start playing the game and perhaps even becoming a statue collector since I like some of these.
Coming ‘atcha with a double dose of companies in this Toy Fair 2016 installment as I give a quick bunch of visuals from two other fine vendors with Dark Horse and Factory Entertainment.
You already know of Dark Horse from their incredible comics line but some folks didn’t know that they also had toys and statues and other assorted collectible. Can you imagine that? Fortunately my wanderings through Toy Fair let me put that stuff right in front of you so have your wallets ready. These first statues are from the game “Witcher”. I didn’t know much about it coming in but shall be looking more into it to be with the program.
Welcome back my friends, I am happy to see you all here for another exciting chapter of the Toy Fair 2014 coverage. I’ve been wandering the aisles quite intensely in order to bring you a chock full of fun presentation and I will begin our fifth installment with the stuff we found at Mezco Toyz.
