Despite being a number of shows behind based on my hectic schedule, we just loved all of the Netflix Marvel Television shows that aired on the streaming service over the last few years. Sadly, “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”, Iron Fist” and “The Punisher” were all cancelled and now its time to move on from them. Fortunately, the fine folks at the Prop Store have gotten their hands on numerous items and will be auctioning them off in the coming weeks. Take a look down below to the full press release.
The Press Release:
Prop Store, one of the leading film and TV memorabilia companies, in association with the world renowned Marvel Entertainment, has today announced the date and lots available in the first ever MARVEL TELEVISION LIVE AUCTION featuring original costumes, props and set decoration from Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Luke Cage and Marvel’s Iron Fist.
I’m using the visual of a very classic collected edition that Marvel released way back in 1976 called “Bring On The Bad Guys”. The book featured the origins of some of their most sinister villains and was the companion to both “Origins Of Marvel Comics” and “Son Of Origins”. I’m certain that all have been reprinted and can be purchased today but I digress. This was used to laud the latest batch of variant covers that will be hitting the monthly issues listed below.
The Press Release:
Just as the “Acts of Evil” have taken over the Marvel Annuals for the summer, we couldn’t forget to spotlight our terrifying villains during Marvel’s 80th anniversary! Acclaimed artists such as Declan Shalvey, Mike McKone, Inhyuk Lee, Mark Brooks, and more highlight classic Marvel heroes going head-to-head with some of their most iconic foes with all-new covers! Look for Marvel’s BRING ON THE BAD GUYS variants on these select titles:
1. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #27 by Woo Cheol Lee – featuring Molten Man
2. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #28 by Bengal – featuring Anna Kravenoff
February sure has started out in full force and it feels like all of the Scandinavian bands that we cover on the website have send some of their homelands weather our way. It’s super cold today for sure with below zero temperatures and nasty winds. I got a taste of this last night as I walked from the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC to the subway home after the Bring Me The Horizon concert. The venue was an inferno, but the outside felt like Antarctica. When I checked my mobile it showed that the temperature outside was five below zero. Yikes. Since today is colder, it’s a good day to sit down and peruse some of the brand new titles that are coming out this month from Marvel Comics. Sure some have already hit the racks since yesterday was New Comic Book Day but the rest are forthcoming. As always the copy and images come from official Marvel resources and the closing editorial notes are all mine. Here we go.

It was only a few short weeks ago, during the NY Comic Con, that we shared the Season 3 trailer for Marvel’s “Daredevil” with the readership. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re going to want to get on that right away by clicking HERE. Now, at the time that this post is going live, you will be able to enjoy the full Season 3 in its entirety. Before you begin binge watching, let’s check out the poster, some premise and casting for the new season.
The Premise: The first season sees lawyer-by-day Matt Murdock use his heightened senses from being blinded as a young boy to fight crime at night on the streets of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood as Daredevil, while uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Wilson Fisk. In the second season, Murdock continues to balance life as a lawyer and Daredevil, while crossing paths with Frank Castle/Punisher, a vigilante with far deadlier methods, as well as the return of an ex-girlfriend—Elektra Natchios. In the third season, after Fisk is released from prison, Murdock, who has been missing for months following the events of The Defenders, reemerges a broken man and must decide between hiding from the world as a lawyer, or embracing his life as a hero vigilante. The New York Comic Con is in full sway and much like what we find when SDCC is happening, there are several trailers to share with you for our mass media side of the fence. A few years ago, Netflix announced it would be offering up four singular but connected series featuring Marvel characters and everyone hoped for the best. As it stands these are all excellent entries to the larger MCU and the first one was “Daredevil”. Now, that series will find its third season premiering in the coming weeks and a full proper trailer has been revealed. Let’s watch.
