Gadzooks!!! Chiller Theatre Is Postponed Until 2021

Back in April, we helped share the news that the Chiller Theatre Expo was postponing their Spring Expo for the Fall one in October (seen HERE) and now I am afraid there is more bad news to bring to your attention. The show is cancelled in full for this year. In case your chosen device doesn’t let you read the graphic, I’ve typed up the information down below for good measure. Read one.

The Statement:
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 global pandemmic in the US, for the safety of our staff, our guest and our patrons we’ve made the decision that there will be no Chiller Theatre this October.

“Star Wars” Celebration Cancelled Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

To Our Star Wars Celebration Fans and Friends:
At Star Wars Celebration, the health and safety of our fans, attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff is always our number one priority. Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and in speaking with local and state authorities on the latest public health guidelines related to indoor conventions, we have made the decision to cancel Star Wars Celebration for 2020. While this news is disappointing, we are happy to announce that Star Wars Celebration will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on August 18-21, 2022.

Tickets, Transfers and Refunds:
Fans who purchased tickets can receive a refund or have their tickets transferred to the new event dates, recieve a refund or recieve a credit for Star Wars Celebration merchandise. As a token of our appreciation and to thank all Star Wars Celbration 2020 fans who choose to transfer their tickets to the 2022 how, we are excited to offer a free exclusive Star Wars Celebration stormtrooper character pin for all transferred tickets. All information about transferring your tickets or requesting a refund can be found at the link below. All ticket holders will receive and e-mail with detailed instructions on how to submit your request.

Eternal Con 2020 Is Cancelled Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

The Statement:
We have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19, and after careful consultation with the NYCB Live and local officials, regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors, and our longtime Eternal Con partners, we have made the decision to Postpone Eternal Con 2020.

We are devastated to share this news with you. “The show must go on” is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 8 years that the event will not take place.

Brooklyn Comic Con Announces 2020 Event Cancellation

The Press Release:
To all our fans, ticket holders, partners, and community members: Thank You All for your patience during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are sad to announce that it is not possible to host Brooklyn Comic Con 2020 on June 20-21, 2020. While it is possible to reschedule, we feel it is in the best interest of our community to skip-over Brooklyn Comic Con 2020 and prepare for Brooklyn Comic Con 2021.

The Bad News:
Is this delay is not the way we wanted Year 2 to go. These are hard times for the whole world, including NYC. For our business, COVID-19 has been devastating. Brooklyn Comic Con is a local, independent show. We are not a multi-million dollar corporation, we are a collective of local business-owners who put everything into making this one-of-a-kind event possible.
