Fans of the Finnish Melodic Metal sensations HIM will be excited that the band has announced a return to the USA and parts of South America that will begin in March of 2014. More on this after the poster.
Fans of In This Moment will surely dig this news as the band just recently announced that the “Hellpop Tour II” will commence in January 2014. I caught that very interesting tour back in November when they played at the Best Buy Theater and more details follow the poster.
I’ve copied some of the original press release for your edification “In This Moment are currently in the midst of their Hellpop Tour, and now the band has announced a second leg that will kick off Jan. 2. Opening bands will be Butcher Babies, Devour the Day and All Hail the Yeti. The 16-date Hellpop Tour II launches in Portland, Ore. and will traverse the country, ending up in Florida just in time for In This Moment to embark on the ShipRocked cruise. ‘Whore’ is the latest single from In This Moment’s ‘Blood’ album, and is currently climbing the rock charts. “I am so proud and excited for the world to hear ‘Whore’,” says vocalist Maria Brink. “The message behind this song is taking back control. It is about taking the power from a disgusting and degrading word and turning it back around on the accuser. It’s about self-empowerment, love and liberation. This is an honest and raw movement that needs to be heard.”

You begged and now you shall indeed receive for Carcass will return for a full scale tour of the States as headliners on the Decibel Magazine Tour for 2014. They’ll be bringing along The Black Dahlia Murder, Gorguts and Noisem and this will be one of those Metal nights to remember. You’re excited I can see it in your face already.
Carcass visited the States a few months ago and instead of doing a larger tour only played a few dates and at smaller places so they sold out almost instantly. They were supporting their latest album which is the acclaimed “Surgical Steel”. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the NYC show at Gramercy Theatre with Immolation as support and it was destruction. Total, and complete destruction. The new album sounds great and hence the accolades for the opus and since I’ve also seen what Black Dahlia Murder does on the stage I can say we are in for a raucous night. Mind you I have not ever seen Gorguts nor Noisem so look forward to the chance to add them to my attended list.

Those crazy cats in Between The Buried and Me are continuing their tour and will be hitting a venue near you in early 2014. Now’s your chance to catch them if you have not done so already or if you are like me and missed them a few months ago when they last brought their sound to town. They’ll be bringing along Intronaut, Deafheaven and The Kindred in case you were curious. I wanted to let you know this news yesterday when it broke but I had the Moonspell “America Noir Tour” for 2014 post going up and I prefer to keep this at one such announcement per day. Circumstances will probably change that every now and again but I digress.
There are times when a concert tour comes around that works from beginning to end in terms of its name acts and thank the Dark Gods, “The America Noir” Tour featuring Moonspell is one of them. I think that you will agree with me when you learn that this tour will bring both Leaves Eyes and Atrocity along with them. Read more after the poster.
