The Press Release:
Image Comics President and SPAWN creator, Todd McFarlane, will pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman in the upcoming SPAWN #311 with a cover in memory of the late actor who brought to life Marvel’s Black Panther character in the Avengers films.
“Given the limited amount of minority characters in the comic industry today that are considered major Superheroes, I thought it appropriate for one of those well-known heroes (Spawn) to pay tribute to a man who made a lasting impact on helping shape such a strong superhero of color,” said McFarlane. “Chadwick Boseman is a person who honed his skills and then made a career using them. Then he fought a fight against his own body that showed the true spirit of this man. We should all admire the traits Chadwick shared with us. And the inspiration he gave to millions of children around the globe who got to see a strong, meaningful and proud hero that looked like themselves.” Continue reading Image Comics Reveals Todd McFarlane “Spawn” #311 Chadwick Boseman Tribute Variant→

Well my fellow geeks, we’ve done it and helped this grand news happen. After almost three months in theaters, Marvel Studios film “Avengers: Endgame” has become to Highest Grossing Film of All Time with an achievement of $2.789 billion dollars. It’s topped the long-standing “Avatar” film which has held the title since 2009 and had achieved $2.787 billion dollars during its full theatrical run. Now according to my reading, “Avatar” was in the theaters for a lot longer than “Avengers: Endgame” has been so far so who knows if the film will reach the $3 billion dollar mark when all is said and done. Let’s take a look at the main poster, premise and massive casting once more before continuing.
Do not adjust your internet feed or monitor screen because you are not at all imagining things. Yes, “Avengers: Endgame” is a film that has already been released and actually just completed its first box-office run on 6/20. The film was nothing short of a blockbuster draw and has brought in $2.751 billion dollars in ticket sales since opening. It is listed as the second highest grossing film of all time, falling short of 2009’s “Avatar” by only $37 million dollars. Today the film is being re-released with additional footage and a bonus scene or two which as you recall were not a part of the first film if you were among the throngs that saw it during the first go round. If you’d like to see any of our posts related to the film so far you can click HERE to peruse them. Please be mindful of the spoilers which might be in some since the films been out for some time already.
