Slayer’s Final World Tour Continues This May

It was well over a year ago that we first reported about the Slayer “Final World Tour” (seen HERE for those who are just joining us here on the website). Back in December, the band announced “LEG 5” of this Farewell Run and while the finer details can be perused HERE, this last go round begins in May. All of this leads me to the press release that recently hit my mailbox. Check it out.

The Press Release:
The end is near for mighty trash metal gods Slayer, continuing their Final World Tour with Leg 5 kicking off in May and hitting several dates across the U.S. including BB&T Pavilion on 5/24.

Cannibal Corpse Announces North American Tour Dates With Slayer

It was just a short time ago when the news began circulating about Slayer and the Fifth Leg of their “Final World Tour”. The North American run will feature support from Lamb Of God, Amon Amarth and Cannibal Corpse and the bands full itinerary was outlined HERE. Since the other bands would be releasing their own thoughts and some expanded press notes, I’ve chosen to shine the spotlight on each of them. Here is the Press Release from Cannibal Corpse.

The Press Release:
CANNIBAL CORPSE will play “Leg Five: North America” of Slayer’s Final World Tour this spring. The journey begins May 2nd in Phoenix, Arizona and runs through sixteen cities, concluding on May 25th in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Additional support will be provided by Lamb Of God and labelmates Amon Amarth.

Slayer Announces Leg Five; North American “Final World Tour” For 2019

With Leg Three: Europe of Slayer’s Final World Tour having wrapped up this past Saturday dates in Australia Japan the South Pacific and the final European dates announced in the past weeks today Slayer announces Leg Five: North America of its Final World Tour.

Maintaining the band’s ethos of “play as many places as possible to make it easier for everyone to see the band one last time,” Leg Five will kick off May 2 2019 at the Ak-Chin Amphitheatre in Phoenix AZ and see the band performing 16 shows across the Southern states and then up the east coast culminating at the Xfinity Center Amphitheatre in Mansfield MA on May 25. Lamb of God Amon Amarth and Cannibal Corpse will support Slayer on all Leg 5 dates.
