As previously discussed, the Comic Con International: San Diego or “SDCC” to most, was just held this past weekend and as expected offered up a wealth of trailers for films and television shows that we fill up the DVR with. Since I blasted so many trailers at our readers on Sunday I’ve decided that with all clips related to The CW Television Network series, that I would offer them up one per day alongside our regularly posting music content. This lets us mix it up nice and evenly. Here is the Official Trailer for “The Flash” Season Four.
You’ve waited patiently my readers and now its time to once again catch up with the fastest man alive, the Scarlet Speedster known at The Flash as the third season of his awesome show begins tonight. Check out some details below and I will return with some thoughts.
Six months after the events of the first season, after a singularity event, the Flash is recognized as Central City’s hero. However, the event brings an evil from a parallel universe to Central City in the form of the speedster Zoom (Teddy Sears; voiced by Tony Todd; Ryan Handley, in costume) who seeks to eliminate everyone connected to the Speed Force throughout the multiverse. Harrison Wells’ parallel universe counterpart, and his daughter Jesse (Violett Beane), work to help Barry and his friends stop Zoom. Joe and his daughter, Iris (Candice Patton), struggle with their shared painful past related to their family, especially after the arrival of Iris’s brother Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale), whom Francine West (Vanessa A. Williams) gave birth to shortly after abandoning her family. After Zoom kills Barry’s father, the season concludes with Barry travelling back in time to save his mother’s life from the Reverse-Flash. I recently finished the second season of The CW Network’s show “Arrow”, the one based on the DC Comics character “Green Arrow” and during that run we met Barry Allen. Allen was a forensic scientist for the Central City Police Department and at the close of his appearances was the victim of a lab accident that will lead him to becoming The Flash. Comic book fans everywhere know exactly what I am talking about but this “Arrow” cameo was the not so subtle lead into his own series as “The Flash” appears in his own show tonight. Check out the poster below and then we can review the premise and cast.
