About The Issue: The world fell in love with her in the movie. Now, the Black Panther’s techno-genius sister launches her own adventures — written by best-selling Afrofuturist author Nnedi Okorafor and drawn by Eisner-nominated artist Leonardo Romero! The Black Panther has disappeared, lost on a mission in space. And in his absence, everyone’s looking at the next in line for the throne. But a nation without a leader is a vulnerable one — and Shuri may have to choose between Wakanda’s welfare and her own. Well hello you Marvel Maniacs, it’s time to get excited about some more comic books that will be coming this month from the House Of Ideas and there are quite a few interesting first issues hitting the stands in November. Hopefully a lot of you were able to enjoy some of the offerings from “Halloween Comicfest” which was this past weekend because there were some interesting titles to choose from and all with some kind of spooky theme to them. I have a handful to sit and read once time allows and considering how many Marvels are coming out this month I better find some quiet time soon. Many of these offerings will also have a special variant cover to enjoy and add to your collection if you jump to those things. Among them you can look for “Action Figure” variants, “Captain America 75th Anniversary” variants, “Black Panther 50th Anniversary” variants and “Hip-Hop Cover” variants. Too bad Marvel Comics doesn’t feel like doing some Rock and Metal variants but I guess my pocket doesn’t’ get as empty by them not doing that. Here are the first issues and some special editions coming in November. As usual the press copy is taken from Marvels side of the fence along with the cover art. Enjoy.
