20th century fox films, movie posters, bohemian rhapsody

By now you’ve seen all of the commercials for the film and maybe some of you were lucky enough to be a part of the advance screenings in NYC earlier in the week but if not, today is the day that “Bohemian Rhapsody” opens up in theaters everywhere. Let’s take a look at the Official Theatrical Poster along with some premise and casting. If you missed the Final Trailer for the film, please click HERE to check that out as I’ve also included some of the other posters that accompany the promotion of the release.

Synopsis: Described as a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury’s lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Ghost Presents: Chapter Five: “The Call”

Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you Sister Imperator is recovering nicely and has another important message.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s good to see Sister not only recovering but also taking the initiative in doling out the necessary work to keep the band Ghost on the road. At the close of the last clip, we found her instructing Papa Nihil to announce the European Tour (seen HERE in case you missed it). Now we find her taking a call from not only the Papa but The Old One Himself where she asks him to announce the Stadium Tour for 2019. Yes my fiends, Ghost will be supporting the mighty Metallica during their stadium run and I think they better have their big boy pants on because the flock will not take so kindly to a shorter Ghost set for more Metallica. What do you think of the clip and this news? Chime in down below and oh yeah, how did Sister like the flowers and the chocolates? You did send them didn’t you?

Ghost Presents: Chapter Four: “The Accident”

Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you Chapter 4 is now ready for viewing….

PiercingMetal Thoughts: And so we have learned what terrible circumstance had befallen Sister Imperator while attending to some essential business for The Clergy. Yes, as you can see she was in a horrible car accident and part of it reminded me of the whole “Detroit Rock City” intro on the KISS “Destroyer” album. By the look of her she is going to be out of commission for a little while and that leaves the work up to Papa Nihil so let’s hope that he can keep focused on the tasks at hand. For those who wish to send gifts to Sister while she recovers, I believe the bands Official Facebook has the information on how you might do so. I’m told she loves lilies and Kit Kat candy. Until next time.

Ghost Presents: Chapter Three: “Back On The Road”

Message From The Clergy: We wish to inform you that the Papas have been re-instated.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: And so we’ve learned just what Sister means by “re-instated”. I’m thinking that she means “in state” but yes, all three of the previous Papas are no more and now for a limited time only shall be available for sacred viewings as a part of the VIP experience at the shows. I never got to see Papa I but was for sure a fan of Papa II and Papa III and felt that each of them had more songs to sing for the converted legions. Oh well, perhaps in the Great Whatever After they are composing sinister symphony that you just might hear on a cold dark night if you listen to the wind close enough. I have no further thoughts on this clip as a topic but shall continue to monitor any whispers and rumblings that might follow in order to keep you all informed. Count the minutes until my return. Let me know what you think about this clip down in the comments section below and share your grief about the end of the three Papas.
