Leave it to The Fronz and his maniacal mates of Attila to come up with a tour called “Let’s Get Abducted”. I can just see the faces that the parents of the younger set of show fans will be making when they catch wind of this one LOL. While the idea of being abducted might seem frightening to some, when you’re getting abducted by Attila for an evening of all out CHAOS, it can only mean one thing: good times! Attila have announced their upcoming Winter 2017 “Let’s Get Abducted” tour. The band will be joined by New Year’s Day, Bad Omens, and Cane Hill on the trek, which kicks off on Valentine’s Day in Memphis and runs through March 12 in Greensboro, N.C.
Attila released their new album CHAOS via SharpTone this fall. The band is featured in the new issue of Revolver, on stands now. While I’ve already mentioned my being a little behind the times with the band Attila, I’ve been trying to correct that by starting off my adventure into their sounds by scoping out the advance singles that I had been sent. The first was “Public Apology” which I felt was a little bit too profane for my liking but I guess that is what is considered normal nowadays in the minds of the young listeners. The newest track to hit my mailbox comes with “Ignite” and while there are some profanities from singer Chris Fronzak, I had to say that I loved this one.

I should have trusted my first instinct that something called “Public Apology” by the band Attila would not be anything like what I might have expected it to be and after giving a couple of listens to the recently released single can say that there is no apology to be found here. The tune is the first single off of the bands forthcoming album “Chaos!” and I should warn the listener with the more sensitive ears that the song if rife with profanity. Trust me on that one as there is far much more than your simple “sh*t” and “a$$” throughout the whole thing. Clearly The “Fronz” (singer Chris Fronzak’s nickname for the unschooled in our readership) is not concerned about getting this tune on the terrestrial radio stations. I think that sort of thing is fine on satellite but don’t quote me.
