Last month we shared the news about the upcoming “Thor” series from Marvel Comics and if you missed that announcement just click HERE to be up to speed. Now we’ve begun to get the variant covers that were done by some of the industries best creatives. As you might expect, I will be continually adding to this original narrative as each cover gets revealed instead of posting a brand-new single post. This worked out well for the recent Artist Variants for “X-Men” #1 and “Fantastic Four” #1 so why change a working process. I’ll begin with the main cover of the series that will launch in January 2020. Let’s take a look shall we.
Greetings and felicitations my fellow Geeks and welcome to PiercingMetal’s comprehensive overview of the 2019 New York Comic Con. As you might notice, this is still the Day One visuals from the massive four-day affair but I am winding down on this day and will be sharing the sights and scenes from Day Two soon enough. Make sure that you are following along from the beginning since its much more fun to do that why by clicking HERE. It will open a new tab with ALL of the New York Comic Con content. I’m still down in the Artist Alley where I was when I last talked to you and am continuing on with pics of Art Baltazar and Franco. They each work on some super cute stuff.
The news about the return of the “Fantastic Four” the the Marvel Universe of comic books is a very big deal and I’ve touched upon some of the announcements about this already that can be examiner HERE and HERE. While I recommend reading the other posts to be up to speed, if you don’t have the time please be aware that this new series comes care of Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli. Such a return is bound to find a wide assortment of “Artist Variants” coming to light and I will be sharing any that I am made aware of in this single post to make this an easy point of referral. I’ll start with the Official Cover and continue along until the transmissions end. Enjoy.
A few days ago I shared the variant covers that span the years that “Action Comics” has been on the stands. These clever editions took a decade each to showcase the adventures of Superman, the Man Of Steel. Hopefully you saw that post and if not, just click HERE for the overview. You’re going to need this when you visit your local comic book retailer next month when issue #1000 hits the stands. In addition to those variants, many of the retailers will have their own exclusive editions and I’ve secured a stockpile of images for you to peruse. I’ve named the retailer and the artist involved in the variant cover and I’ve started with the two popular comic retail giants of our own Metropolis and then the rest are in alphabetical order. Check it out.
