Dig The CW Network “Crisis On Earth-X” Crossover Trailer

We’re only a few days away from this years crossover on The CW Entertainment network and as previously noted, the crossover will hit “Supergirl”, “Arrow”, “The Flash” and “Legends Of Tomorrow”. We’ve recently received a trailer for the epic event, and its presented below for your enjoyment. Then I repeated the overall premise and characters you will see over the four shows.

The Premise: Barry Allen and Iris West’s friends come to Central City for their wedding, only for the event to be disrupted by Nazi invaders from the parallel world Earth-X, including fascist doppelgängers of Barry’s allies Oliver Queen and Kara Danvers and enemy Eobard Thawne, who come to Earth-1 with a deadly agenda. In addition, the superheroes from Earth-X, including Citizen Cold (a doppelgänger of Leonard Snart) and The Ray, also arrive to help Barry and his friends to stop them. (thanks Wiki)

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I felt that I said my peace when I showcased the poster in September, but I will repeat it once more for good measure “Last year’s “Invasion” story line was pretty good but I will have to say that I am super interested in this one since I know that Earth-X is the world in the Multiverse for the Freedom Fighters who I always enjoyed in the comics. Despite their very limited run of a series. I’ll cross my fingers that we get Uncle Sam somewhere in this or Human Bomb at least. Good characters that would make for interesting crossovers on this and future episodes. I still watch all four of the shows and am curious to see how Black Lightning will do when it makes its premiere”. What about you readers? Are you enjoying these programs and does this new crossover event pique your interest a little more after the trailer??? Let me know down below.

Tonight: “Arrow” On The CW Network (10/12/2017)

Alright, I’m down to the last of the currently running DC Comics television shows that were premiering this week. “Arrow” begins its sixth season this evening, so below you will find the dramatic season poster along with some previous season recap and casting. I’ll close out with where I am at with the show at this point as well when we close up.

Season Five Recap: In season five, Oliver trains young heroes Wild Dog, Mister Terrific, Artemis, and Ragman to join him in his war on crime following Laurel’s death and Thea’s resignation. He subsequently recruits a new Black Canary as well: metahuman vigilante and former police detective Dinah Drake. Supported by new allies, Oliver tries to balance vigilantism with his new role as mayor. He is also threatened by the mysterious and deadly villain Prometheus, who has a connection to Oliver’s past. In flashbacks, Oliver joins the Bratva in Russia as part of an plot to assassinate Konstantin Kovar. There, he meets and is trained by one of Ra’s al Ghul’s daughters, Talia al Ghul, as a hooded archer, before eventually returning to Lian Yu.

Tonight: “The Flash” On The CW Network (10/10/2017)

This is an exciting week if you are a fan of The CW’s take on all of the DC Comics Superheroes because all of the shows are making their latest season premieres. Yesterday we had “Supergirl” and tonight it’s “The Flash” turn as Season 4 begins on the network. I’ve secured the poster for the season and have added some reminder of the previous happenings along with the cast. Check it out below.

Season 3 Recap: By changing his past, Barry alters the timeline, resulting in “Flashpoint”. Though he is somewhat able to restore the timeline, this creates new threats, including Savitar. After Harry and Jesse return to Earth-2, another Wells doppelgänger is recruited: the novelist “H.R.” Wells. Both Wally and Caitlin Snow begin to manifest metahuman abilities; Wally suits up as the speedster Kid Flash, while Caitlin is forced to suppress her ice-powers to prevent becoming Killer Frost. When Barry accidentally travels to the future and sees Iris killed by Savitar, he is desperate to change the future to prevent that from happening. After saving Iris and defeating Savitar, Barry takes his place in the Speed Force. (thanks Wiki)

Some Cast/Characters:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Joe West
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m still a part of “Team Flash” when it comes to The CW Network of shows and think that I like this one a whole lot more than that of “Arrow”. I do feel that some of the storyline’s in the overall sense are too drawn out and would like to see the show approach a more “Agents Of SHIELD” methodology with various arcs that all tie together. Otherwise I really like it and hope we get a few surprises and some more heroes that can be utilized across the DC Comics Television Universe. Can we start a thing called the “DCTU”? I’d like to think so. Are you still watching “The Flash” or have you even given it a chance yet? It’s on Netflix if you haven’t so if you program the new season on DVR, you can begin to binge watch the older episodes and then pick up with the recordings. Give it a shot, I think you will enjoy it and I say this as a seasoned superhero fan. Let me know down in the comments section below.

Tonight: “Supergirl” on The CW Network (10/9/2017)

While I am still rather sore from the past few days at the New York Comic Con, it’s time to put the nose to the grindstone and get all of these awesome television pieces up and in your attention visuals. This one is to remind you that at 8PM (EST) will begin the third season of The CW Network’s “Supergirl” show. You might remember that it aired for one season on CBS but now is firmly ensconced on The CW. Below you will find the series poster, a second season overview and some casting. I’ll close out with some thoughts before sending you on your way to other posts across the web.

Season 2 Recap: In the second season, Kara and her allies deal with feuds between Earth’s native populace and extraterrestrial community, and investigate the shadowy organization Project Cadmus, masterminded by Lillian Luthor, mother of Superman’s archenemy Lex Luthor. At the same time, Kara becomes friendly with Lillian’s stepdaughter Lena Luthor, the new CEO of LuthorCorp, and struggles with romantic feelings for recent Earth arrival Mon-El, a survivor and prince from Krypton’s neighboring planet Daxam. James becomes the masked streetfighting vigilante Guardian; Alex begins dating Maggie Sawyer; and J’onn befriends a younger Martian, M’gann, from the White Martian race that killed his people.
