The music world might have lost the great Jerry Garcia almost twenty years ago, but his spirit and sound lived on through his former band mates and their vast and varied projects since that sad day. There was “The Other Ones”, “Phil Lesh and Friends”, “Further” and sometimes “The Dead” and it was through these projects that the band’s music remained fresh in the hearts and minds of their worldwide fans. Earlier today, the remaining members of the band announced that The Grateful Dead would perform three final shows in celebration of their fiftieth anniversary. The press release and dates are below the super trippy poster.
