Though the American International Toy Fair for 2016 has been over for a few weeks now, I’m continuing on with the myriad of company displays that we examined during our four days at the event. Remember that a lot of these items are coming out in the next few months so keeping the posts coming until we’re out of images works fine. These images focus on the Bif, Bang, Pow! and Entertainment Earth items and there is some coolness there for sure. Have fun checking them out, I will chime in here and there.
Hello readers and welcome to another installment from the Toy Fair 2016 explorations. I’m continuing along through the companies that I visited as deeper focuses and with this chapter we are going to share three more based on the photos that were captures. I’ll start with Monogram International Inc. who have a lot of licenses that I enjoy. One of their biggest sellers are these blind boxes and blind bags that let you collect a whole range of things. Take a look at some of what I saw.
Hello and welcome back to another of our Toy Fair 2016 narratives. This one is rather special to me because it features not one, not two but three different awesome companies that I browsed at this years event. Let’s start with the stuff that I caught a glimpse of at the McFarlane Toys booth.
I’ve loved McFarlane Toys since they first started releasing the action figures that let you play out the adventures of Spawn and his various adversaries. There is a box somewhere in my collections with a few of these early action figures but they are not mint on card at all. I needed to open these things. Check out the new Mini Spawn. I gotta get myself one of these.
Though I am not much for collecting the statues that get released I do love looking at them. For me its a space issue and that I don’t have the best way to present them to those visiting my domicile. I know friends that have set aside small room and loaded them up with shelves to best showcase this kind of stuff and I highly recommend that this wonderful Medieval Spawn be added to the collection.
Hello there readers and welcome to another post from my comprehensive exploration of the 2016 American International Toy Fair. I think this narrative marks my 8th or 9th post about the massive event at Javits Center but with so much to explore and share I have to do this properly. I’m up to the Funko stuff which I love to death. Let’s get started.
The Funko pavilion is always a massive space at Toy Fair and such a space needs a guardian. I can think of no one better than this larger than life Hulkbuster Armor Iron Man. There is also a giant Batman but we’ve presented him here on the site a number of times already and now its someone else’s turn.
I’m not going to speak much during this post as much as I will chime in as the various lines come past us. Most readers know the characters being shown so I don’t need to repeat. These smaller figurines are known as “Dorbz” and they are adorable. Oh I see the play on words now. Clever.
Coming ‘atcha with a double dose of companies in this Toy Fair 2016 installment as I give a quick bunch of visuals from two other fine vendors with Dark Horse and Factory Entertainment.
You already know of Dark Horse from their incredible comics line but some folks didn’t know that they also had toys and statues and other assorted collectible. Can you imagine that? Fortunately my wanderings through Toy Fair let me put that stuff right in front of you so have your wallets ready. These first statues are from the game “Witcher”. I didn’t know much about it coming in but shall be looking more into it to be with the program.
