The DC Universe streaming service was off to a good start with the live action series for “Titans” and when I had briefly joined up had scores of comic books to peruse on your mobile device. Now its time for the next series to begin as The Doom Patrol come to life. Let’s take a look at the poster, premise and casting once more.
It was only last week that I shared some stuff from the upcoming DC Universe original series “The Doom Patrol” with a post that invited us to “Meet Them” and while this clip was super short, you’re going to want to click HERE since I’ve included a whole bunch of promotional posters as well. With the show beginning its weekly streaming tomorrow, I was surprised to find an extended trailer but here it is and here we are. Let’s take a look.
Those subscribers to the DC Universe streaming and reading service are going to love that a brand new live action series is coming hot off the heels of the intense “Titans” series that only recently completed its first season. I’m talking about The Doom Patrol who were always a bit of a quirky team of misfits since their inception and with their show launching on the service in the coming days we now have a quick trailer for it called “Meet The Doom Patrol”. Take a look.
Hello my friends, it is once again time to make the chimichangas as the Merc with a Mouth, Wade Wilson who we all know and love as Deadpool, has returned for the sequel to his first film with “Deadpool 2”. Check out the awesome theatrical poster and a completely ridiculous and untrue premise for the film along with the casting.
Per The YouTube Video Page: After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover. As discussed not so long ago in another post, The CW is rife with DC Superhero shows with the likes of “Arrow”, “The Flash”, “Legends Of Tomorrow” and now “Supergirl” all forming what is considered “The Arrowverse” (alright “Supergirl” is a parallel universe but they all teamed up in the first half of their most recent seasons). There is also “I Zombie” but that show is not connected to the others at all and now it looks like NBC is throwing their hat into the ring once more with a show that’s called “Powerless”. That show begins its season tonight with the premiere episode.
Powerless takes place in the DC Universe and follows the adventures of Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens) as Director of Research & Development at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, that specializes in products for ordinary humans who are poised to be victims of the battles between superheroes and supervillians.
