IRON MAIDEN will continue their Legacy of the Beast Tour into 2020 heading to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and a first ever visit to The Philippines. This will be followed by shows in Israel and Dubai before circling back into Europe for a final run which will be mainly Festival and headline stadium dates, plus some arena shows, and will include countries and cities not visited on previous legs. So far, the band has played to close to two million fans in 39 countries around the globe since the tour opened in 2018, including headlining to a capacity crowd of 100,000 at the legendary Rock In Rio festival in Brazil. Hopefully you’ve been following along with our features regarding the Iron Maiden “Studio Catalog” Remasters initiative since they began doing them just about a year ago. Now its time for the “Phase 4” releases to join Phase 1 and Phase 2 and Phase 3. Read all about it care of the Press Release that I am sharing with you down below.

BMG will continue their reissues series of the IRON MAIDEN catalog with the fourth and final set of Digipak CD titles in The Studio Collection – Remastered, to be released on November 8th.
The albums are “Dance Of Death”, “A Matter Of Life And Death” (standard/collectors), “The Final Frontier” and 2015’s double-album “The Book Of Souls”.
The Studio Collection – Remastered follows on from 2014/2017’s black vinyl releases and 2015’s Mastered for iTunes project and features recordings taken from the same remasters as the 2015 hi-res digital releases. The most recent studio album – The Book Of Souls – was released that year in the same quality audio, but is appearing in Digipak for the first time. Following on from 2014/2017’s black vinyl releases and 2015’s Mastered for iTunes project, The Studio Collection – Remastered features recordings taken from the same remasters as the 2015 hi-res digital releases. The albums supersede the previously available studio catalog and all titles will also be made available on streaming platforms.
Back in October, I shared the news and some visuals about Iron Maiden’s studio albums being remastered and released in digipaks and if you didn’t see that please click HERE. Now its time for the second phase to get underway. Ready, aim, fire…..

BMG will continue their reissues series of the IRON MAIDEN catalog with the second set of Digipak CD titles in The Studio Collection – Remastered, to be released on March 22nd.
Following on from 2014/2017’s black vinyl releases and 2015’s Mastered for iTunes project, The Studio Collection – Remastered features recordings taken from the same remasters as the 2015 hi-res digital releases. The albums supersede the previously available studio catalogue and all titles will also be made available on streaming platforms.
As a bonus for collectors, one CD from each batch of releases will also be optionally available in a specially artworked box featuring a 1:24 scale figurine and exclusive patch. In the March 22nd batch, this will be Somewhere In Time.
Maiden founder member and bassist Steve Harris says, “We’ve wanted to revisit these for a long time and I was delighted with the remastering we did in 2015. I thought it was the best that our albums have ever sounded and it was only right that we made them available on CD now too.”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Sadly, the holidays need for cash found me not getting the first batch of these albums so now I have double the work to do and get them into my collection as well. I loved the first three in this second wave but don’t remember “No Prayer For The Dying” being a favorite of mine. Perhaps its time to give it another go. IRON MAIDEN will bring the Legacy Of The Beast Tour to North America in 2019 for an extensive series of arena and amphitheater shows produced by Live Nation, including a first ever headline appearance at the Banc of California Stadium in LA. The tour will cover a total of 33 cities right across the U.S.A. and Canada, including Portland, Oregon where they haven’t played since 1987 on the Somewhere In Time Tour, Hartford, Connecticut where they last played in 2005, and many other places not visited since the Maiden England 2012/13 Tour.
