SyFy Presents: “Krypton” Official Trailer #2

Hello again readers and fans of shows that feature our colorful comic book characters. I’m back to showcase the second official trailer for the upcoming SyFy series “Krypton” and it looks promising. Take a look down below.

The Premise: According to IGN, Krypton will follow Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El; whose family, the House of El, has been ostracized and shamed. Seg-El fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

The Cast/Characters:
Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El
Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod
Ian McElhinney as Val-El
Elliot Cowan as Daron-Vex
Ann Ogbomo as Alura Zod
Rasmus Hardiker as Kem
Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex
Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em
Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange
Blake Ritson as Brainiac
Paula Malcomson as Charys
Additionally, Seg’s father Ter-El, Doomsday and Hawkgirl will also appear in the television series.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve already said what I’ve needed to about this upcoming show but that being said I will tell you that I am sold on giving it a chance. It will be interesting to see Adam Strange in action and of course Brainiac who in all honesty should have had an inference in last years ill-received “Justice League” film. There wasn’t one of course and heck, we didn’t even get a glimpse of Darkseid but enough about that. Sorry if I spoiled it for you but if you haven’t seen the film by now you are not on the same level of geek as most of us are. The “Krypton” show airs on 3/21 so while it might be too early to set your DVR as that’s still a month away, you might want to set a reminder somewhere on your mobile to be on point closer to the airing date. Did you enjoy the second trailer? Let me know down in the comments section below.

SyFy Presents: “Krypton” Official Trailer #1

This coming March, DC Comics fans will learn that not every show has to be secured on The CW Network as the pre-history of Superman’s ancestors is presented during the show “Krypton”. It’s going to come care of the SyFy Network and the first official trailer is here to enjoy. Let’s take a look.

The Premise: According to IGN, Krypton will follow Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El; whose family, the House of El, has been ostracized and shamed. Seg-El fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

The Cast/Characters:
Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El
Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod
Ian McElhinney as Val-El
Elliot Cowan as Daron-Vex
Ann Ogbomo as Alura Zod
Rasmus Hardiker as Kem
Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex
Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em
Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange
Blake Ritson as Vril Dox

Additionally, Seg’s father Ter-El, Doomsday and Hawkgirl will also appear in the television series. Paula Malcomson will appear as Charys.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: While this full official trailer was still on the short side, I am finding myself a little more interested in this series and this might just be because DC big screen presentations are disappointing me while their television shows are keeping me engaged. I do like the idea of Adam Strange in the show and now we know that Braniac is the main antagonist to fend off. This will be the first time either of these characters have appeared in a live action series so I am excited to see how they are fleshed out. I know that Hawkgirl is listed as part of the cast so perhaps the Green Lantern Corps will be along somewhere as well. One can only hope. We have until March so I am assuming that another trailer will come. Don’t forget that “Black Lightning” will have its premiere on The CW Network in the coming days. That one looks interesting too. Let me know what you think of this trailer and your preliminary thoughts on the show might be. See you next time.

Presenting The SyFy “Krypton” Teaser Trailer (Coming 2018)

Sometime in March of the upcoming year, DC Comics fans will learn that not every show has to be secured on The CW Network as the pre-history of Superman’s ancestors is presented during the show “Krypton”. It’s going to come care of the SyFy Network and the first teaser trailer was just released. Let’s take a look.

The Premise: According to IGN, Krypton will follow Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El; whose family, the House of El, has been ostracized and shamed. Seg-El fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

The Cast/Characters:
Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El
Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod
Ian McElhinney as Val-El
Elliot Cowan as Daron-Vex
Ann Ogbomo as Alura Zod
Rasmus Hardiker as Kem
Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex
Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em
Shaun Sipos as Adam Strange
Blake Ritson as Vril Dox

Additionally, Seg’s father Ter-El, Doomsday and Hawkgirl will also appear in the television series. Paula Malcomson will appear as Charys.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though we don’t see them in the teaser, perhaps they shall make an appearance in a longer trailer when one comes to light and I am talking about Adam Strange and Vril Dox (who is one of the Braniac clones). I’d be interested in seeing them for sure and their inclusion makes me a little more interested in this DC Comics Pre-history show. Let’s face it, when John Byrne revamped “Superman” so many years ago, he gave us a Krytpton that you wanted to see blown up based on how cold and sterile their populace had become. It wasn’t until the “Man Of Steel” movie that we learned of the assorted castes and how each one would apply to a certain governance in society. It could be interesting, especially if we see other cosmic entities from the DC Universe that would have existed around the planet and its people. Perhaps the Green Lantern Corps, or things along those lines. Anyway, I usually don’t speak to teaser trailers but I am chatty today and the year is heading towards a close. So much is coming our way if you are fan of the comics related TV shows and I think it’s pretty awesome. Until next time.
