Sony Pictures Presents: “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” Official Trailer (2017)

I guess that it’s been a couple of months since I first shared the teaser trailer for the 2017 opening film “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” and now we have the full on trailer to enjoy and discuss. The film continues, and apparently will end the now long running “Resident Evil” film franchise and once again stars Milla Jovovich as its main character Alice. Check out the trailer below.

The Synopsis:
Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Since I promised more “thoughts” when we had the longer trailer here they are. I’ve really enjoyed the past films and take them for what they are which is simply “wild adventures in surviving a Post-Apocalyptic zombie ridden future”. It’s as simple as that. Hey the pacing is much better than “The Walking Dead” and who doesn’t want to see an action hero kicking some zombie ass? They are saying this is the final chapter so let’s see if that is the case after the release. It’s never truly the end in Hollywood unless they decide to reboot from the beginning (but please don’t do that Sony as its not needed). I like that there are some cool new undead monsters to face off against along with plenty of familiar ones. That’s all I have to say on the matter so before I go let me ask you readers what you think of this full trailer. Will you be seeing the film on its opening day? You have until January 2017 to decide but let me know what you think down in the comments below.
