I recently noted that I had done some posts for the movie “Brightburn” already and to keep it simple on past referring, if you want to examine the lot just click HERE to open a new tag with all of that stuff. With the movie opening up in only four more days (and the advance screening the night before), I admit to some surprise about a third and final Official Trailer. Still, here we are and I’ve embedded it for you below so take a look. I’ve also kept the premise, casting and the theatrical poster here for your enjoyment.
Synopsis: “What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? In this horrific take on the classic superhero trope, a couple adopts a baby who came from the stars. While they attempt to raise the boy to use his powers for good, an evil begins to grow inside that he unleashes.”
Elizabeth Banks as Tori Breyer
David Denman as Mr. Breyer
Jackson A. Dunn as Brandon Breyer
PiercingMetal Thoughts: This trailer has only a few additional scenes that were not in the other clips and I still wonder why they would go to the effort with only a few days left before release. Perhaps its to secure peoples interest in the box office during the holiday weekend. Speaking frankly, I don’t know too many people talking about the film and now that “Game Of Thrones” ended last night in the fashion that it did, its all the talking points at water coolers everywhere. There’s that and the fact that “Avengers: Endgame” is closing in on “Avatar to be the highest grossing film of all time. Many of us here in the Geek Nation are pulling for it to do so. If you are one of those fans who planned on seeing this again, you should get on that ASAP to make it count towards the goal but I digress, this post is not about “Avengers: Endgame” and is for “Brightburn”. Has this latest clip sold you or will you wait for more reviews to come through? Chime in down below. See you next time.
