Hello again my friends and welcome back once again to the continued presentations from the 2019 New York Comic Con. You’ve arrived at the Day Three, Part Three stuff and its safe to say that we’ve passed the halfway point in my visualizations. Before continuing, please make sure you’ve enjoyed all the posts that have come before by clicking HERE. This is a mostly cosplayer narrative so only limited narration from me will be present. Enjoy the silence as Depeche Mode would say.
If you’ve never been to the Javits Center, let me explain that there is a corridor outside where the buses usually drop off and pick up patrons to various hotels and mass transit stations. During NYCC this is closed off and becomes a massive gathering place for the Cosplayers and all the photographers who try to set up shoots with them. They also have a number of awesome food trucks to patronize but they are not pictured. I spent a little time out here to see if I knew anyone and liked the costuming.
These assorted Elton John cosplayers was a mind-blowing sight. Did you see the “Rocketman” film yet? I admit that I have not.
We ran into our friend Destro who many of you have seen before in these offerings. It’s always good to see him and be reminded that he and his forces of insidiousness are on the side of the Metal Media Command HQ.
This was great. You might have remembered a Ronald McDonald/Thor mashup cosplay from some older posts, well this is the same cat and now he reflects how Thor looked in “Avengers: Endgame”. Well played sir. Well. Played.
I’ll stop here and let you take a breather. According to my post assembling skills, there are still two more to run before I get to the fourth and final day so stay tuned to this media channel and get ready for maximum geek overload. Don’t forget to follow PiercingMetal on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube so you don’t miss a second of the fun. See you next time.
