Halloween is just around the corner but that doesn’t mean a couple of the treats can’t come earlier and this one is not going to satisfy your sweet tooth but will assist in the quelling of your ravenous desire for Heavy Metal. Yes, a new tour is heading our way and it’s a co-headlining run with Sabaton and Kreator. Read on down below and know that I will come back to close it all up.
The Press Release:
Swedish heavy metal heroes SABATON are uniting with German thrash titans and label mates KREATOR for the ultimate North American co-headlining trek. ABOUT KREATOR: One thing‘s for sure: There aren‘t many bands with a history as long and eventful as KREATOR‘s, who fascinatingly succeed in exploring new horizons while challenging and reinventing themselves time and again, resulting in high impact results – as is perfectly illustrated by their new record Gods Of). With this 14th studio album of their impressive career, the thrashers from Essen, Germany have crafted a work of art of utmost vigor, drawing its unfailing power from the pounding heart of one of the greatest, most versatile metal bands of all time. Gods Of Violence lives and breathes!
About SABATON: Formed in Falun, Sweden in 1999, SABATON thoroughly researches their battle topics to ensure the songs paint accurate and objective portraits of the historical event they’re singing about, which are narrated from an omniscient point-of-view or in first-person as a soldier caught in the line of fire. Like their home country of Sweden, SABATON aims to remain politically neutral in their role as musical war historians. SABATON have reached their unshaken position as heavy metal’s AAA-torchbearer after releasing ingenious studio recordings and playing endless amount of unforgettable live shows with massive live production. The Last Stand is another unquestionable and bulletproof evidence of SABATON’s top class abilities.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Clearly this is a pairing of most epic proportions and is a night that few Metal Legions will soon forget and that leads me to the outcry of “WHERE THE EFF IS THE NYC DATE!?!?!?” Sure, we get the solo headlining shows by both of these bands but for the co-headlining run to bypass this Metal Metropolis of ours seems unfair. There isn’t even a NJ Show on this run so it looks like as far as my area is concerned there is a haul to Long Island in our future. I’ll close this up now with the always inquiry of what do you readers think about this tour. You can let me know down in the comments section below and if for some reason you have yet to catch either of these bands then do not miss out on this one. These are two of the most exciting Metal groups that you can see on the live concert stage and if the poster is to be trusted there are no other bands being featured. That is awesome since who needs the terrible local act on something like this. Okay I’m out and getting ready for Halloween now.
