About SABATON: Formed in Falun, Sweden in 1999, SABATON thoroughly researches their battle topics to ensure the songs paint accurate and objective portraits of the historical event they’re singing about, which are narrated from an omniscient point-of-view or in first-person as a soldier caught in the line of fire. Like their home country of Sweden, SABATON aims to remain politically neutral in their role as musical war historians. SABATON have reached their unshaken position as heavy metal’s AAA-torchbearer after releasing ingenious studio recordings and playing endless amount of unforgettable live shows with massive live production. The Last Stand is another unquestionable and bulletproof evidence of SABATON’s top class abilities.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So you consider yourself a Metal head and someone who is keeping up with the new and the current in addition to all of the long-standing greats of the sound. Tell me something then if you were nodding your head to that inquiry. Have YOU ever witnessed Sabaton in concert before or have YOU even listened to a track or three? If you said no, then I am afraid you are not as much the Metal head as you consider yourself because these guys have been around a whole bunch of times as openers for some great other worthy acts and their tunes have been discussed on numerous occasions on sites like this one. Don’t worry because you can still save the day for yourself by being a part of this sure to be exciting tour. Having seen Sabaton at least six or more times by now I have to stress that they are one of most exhilarating shows of them all and you’re cheating yourself and friends out of a good time if you end up passing. Don’t disappoint me with this one and be on point for “The Last Tour” (which is NOT the bands last tour by the way). I’ll close up by wondering who the band is bringing along with them for this one and hope its something just as interesting. As always you can let me know what you think about this tour announcement down in the comments below. See you next time.
