In what has amounted to be a wave of postponements and even full cancellations comes the news that the Rage Against The Machine “Public Service Announcement” tour has been postponed. The graphic below lines out the bands statement.
I’ve typed this up down below if you are one who needs glasses like I do these days….sigh.
“Due to the current outbreak and ban on public gatherings we are postponing the first part of our tour (March 26th – May 28th) with Run The Jewels. The safety and health of those who come to our shows is of utmost importance to us. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for newly scheduled shows. As it stands, the July and August tour is still on. We will be in touch soon about rescheduled dates.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Earlier this evening the governor instituted a band on all public gatherings of more than 500. The folks at Live Nation and AEG Worldwide began cancelling performances that were being held up until April 1st. That’s only a couple of weeks in length and with this outbreak just getting started I anticipate more news of this kind coming at us fast. By the way I am not being negative just pragmatic based on all the reliable data that is out there. Stay healthy my friends, keep washing your hands and limiting handshakes if even doing them at this point. Get checked out if you display any of the listed signs. See you next time.
