We are now at Day Three visuals for the 2014 edition of NY Comic Con. This is the busiest of all the days since its the Saturday session and for me this has been a chaotic bit of adventuring because I have had a show so far each night. I have one for Saturday and Sunday as well and I think the only thing that I will see when my body finally comes to terms with Monday is my pillow. Let’s get this party started with this superb Green Lantern Cosplay. By the way I will be bounding around today with some time in The Block and then over in Artist Alley. I have tended to avoid the main room during the Saturday early part so let’s see what happens. I promise to chime in as needed during this chapter and the same for the rest of Day Three.
Powergirl Cosplay was helping to rep the Spirithoods Company. They make wonderful animal inspired hoods. All made of different materials and not endangering anything furry.
“Remember, remember! The fifth of November, The Gunpowder treason and plot; I know of no reason Why the Gunpowder treason Should ever be forgot!” V is wondering what the Fawkes is going on at NYCC 2014.
Wonder Twin Cosplay powers activate!!!
Here’s a display by Brooklyn Beer who once again were showcasing “Brooklyn Defender” a heroic adult beverage.
Cobra’s Baroness was looking sensational today.
Here’s the Sanchez’s, Claudio and Chondra and you likely know Claudio from Coheed and Cambria.
Now I was going to head to Artist Alley and as I wandered I saw this “Danger Girl” cosplayer.
And for those wondering where in the world was Carmen Sandiego, well she was right here at the Con.
Here’s Danny Fingeroth.
Since so many of the artists were photographed with their names I am not going to repeat that unless there is something that needs to be said.
Here are two old friends from Marvel with Glenn Greenberg on the left (I had not seen him in many years) and El Buncho Steve Bunche on the right. Bunche has a few reviews around the site since he helped out when we were rather new. Its always great to see him at NYCC.
Okay so that brings us to the end of Day Three, Chapter One. Exciting isn’t it? Believe me there is a whole lot to see based on the overall attendance level that this day gets. I’ll be back tomorrow with another installment and until that time please click some website links below. You can also come find us on the Official Facebook and Official Instagram to enjoy some side observations. I’d love to have you along.
