Hello my wonderful readers of the Official Blog for PiercingMetal.com you have arrived at our continuing presentation of images and thoughts from this year’s NY Comic Con. I’m now four chapters in for the second day of the convention with plenty more to go in case you are just joining us. Not much else to say so let’s get right on into it. I’ll begin this chapter with a menacing pair of Mandalorian Soldiers. They surely mean business so no jokes if you find yourself in their company my friends.

This lovely alien lass was repping the Action Burger restaurant that we heard about last year. Sadly I have not yet made it to this establishment.

Middle Earth will be saved thanks to this Gandalf The Grey Cosplayer

These three ladies were dressed to the nines and tens but sadly I only knew the Wonder Woman Cosplay character.

Titan Entertainment had some cool Doctor Who figures.

Now here are a pair of lovely Cosplayers dressed to protect mankind with ease.

Here is the cool shirts and stuff by Akumu Ink. I loved these designs.

The Viz Media area. A look from the overhead 🙂

Amazing Justice League statues by Kotobukiya

I’ve enjoyed what Uglydoll has been putting out since they’re so weird. I might have to get these Superman and Batman ones sometime soon.

and some “Hello Kitty” Uglydolls as well…..

If you’ve read any of our Toy Fair coverages you know that we always make sure to set up an appointment with the Diamond Select Toys people so we can see what is new and hot in the action figure department. They had a booth set up at the Convention and of course this time around it was a retail thing so the fans could purchase anything that they saw on display. Here are a few shots from their booth. I am so glad that I stopped collecting action figures because these are amazing offerings.

Wow is this statue awesome or what. Move along now…..

Lots and lots of Mini-Mates from Diamond Select. As you can see a number of “The Walking Dead” editions.

Here’s a lovely Chun-Li Cosplayer. You’ll find this a common outfit at the Con.

Heroic Stance….

Some stuff by Avatar Press

The Avatar Press Booth

Here is the Aspen Comics booth

I need to start watching “Arrow”. I have yet to do this but the first season is on Netflix now so I can begin my journey. So many of my friends like it. Have you watched? These two cosplayers have obviously.

I always get a kick out of seeing Lollipop Chainsaw around the Con.

Nothing says “Comic Convention” to me more than an auto dealership right in the center of the exhibition floor 🙂

Well hello “Dexter” – Keep up the bad work. Clearly your lady “friend” gives good dead (ouch) 🙂

A little Star Wars cosplay going on here….

There were a LOT of Thors and Loki’s around. She-Loki was a popular theme this year for sure.

We’re big fans of the Mezco Toys stuff and here is their Heisenberg figure from the hit show “Breaking Bad”

Now this one surprised me a little bit. A cologne by Stan “The Man” Lee.

Not sure who these two were supposed to be but I snapped their photo. I need an Anime Guidebook for sure.

I did know these Batman Universe Cosplayers though. From left to right we have a Huntress, Harley Quinn and Batgirl Cosplay. Nicely done girls.

Now it was time for me to focus on a really cool vendor called UD Replicas. They make authentic just like the movie you saw recently stuff. Check them out.

They also had Mjolnir.

And were prepared for the times when Captain America throws his mighty shield.

Here is the armor sported by General Zod in the recent “Man Of Steel” film.

Also a fantastic Batman armor. Would you be mad if I said that I still prefer the “classic look”?

You how much of a KISS fan I am over here at the PiercingMetal Command HQ so its without question that I want these jackets. Now, who among you remember my own or the sites birthday and is feeling generous? Fine, be that way then ;p

I think this is a Hawkeye Cosplay, or would that be Sif. Yes I think its Sif.
Always nice to see the great Neal Adams at the Con.

That brings us to the close of yet another exciting chapter of the NY Comic Con explorations.
