Welcome to our third and final chapter from the Day One NY Comic Con wanderings. It was a very productive day and we met a lot of cool people and saw some awesome things. I wanted to keep the images to fifty per post but I ran out before we hit that with this chapter but don’t worry I still have a three day span coming up. Let’s begin the visuals with this awesome Darth Vader holiday ornament. Yeah I want this. It’s too awesome.
We swung by the massive booth for the “Age Of Wushu” game but did not manage to play it. Sorry. We did get a nice pitch from their spokesmodel and representatives just the same. The girls had on awesome costumes to allow the passing fans to get in the photo with them.
The lovely Lori Lamanna (she is a model by the way and we enjoyed speaking to her today) Good luck Lori.
A charming Supergirl Cosplay
Here is the Lethalware display. Great looking stuff at this booth….
A blue-haired Supergirl….
Here comes a very scary undead bride to be……jeepers.
Here’s Onrie Kompan and his “Yi Soon Shin” trade paperback….
If you need some cool accessorizing, I suggest you look no further than the folks at Fine. Really cute things here.
This is the star of the Mr. Grey Show which is created by Dusty Wright. No that is not Dusty holding Mr. Grey.
They even had cupcakes with Mr. Grey on them, and yes I did enjoy one. It was wonderful and the show itself looks like a lot of fun.
There was a section in the convention center that had a large space used for some classic and fantasy related cars. They had the Scooby Doo “Mystery Machine” and the vintage Batmobile. Take a look.
Probably my most favorite car while growing up as a boy and probably until not too long ago 🙂
An Amazing art display at NY Comic Con….
Since I had to pass my new friends at the “Age Of Wushu” booth, I snapped another shot.
Here’s the “Rock Love” booth, I met their owner (left) a couple of conventions ago and was impressed with her wares. She has actually done stuff for Emilie Autumn in the past and I think that is pretty cool.
A view from above of one of the main exterior corridors. It was getting late and many folks had already made their way home. Tomorrow is when this really gets crazy, oh and by the way you might notice those cars in the photo below. There were a lot of those around the convention this year. It surprised me.
The Day Two stuff will follow shortly, and I think you will enjoy it. Remember to click these great links and send some love to these people and companies that got presented in this chapter. We know that they will appreciate it and that is why I made sure to include them for your perusal.
