They call him “The Shape” but he also goes by Michael Myers and he is an unstoppable force of evil that’s been haunting us since 1978. Now, some forty years later he is returning to where it all began for one final confrontation with the one that got away. As I’ve noted in an earlier post of this type, the attention to some key Horror releases continues with this very worthy clip. Check out the recently released trailer for “Halloween”.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: When the original “Halloween” was released in 1978, I didn’t manage to see it in the theaters since I was not the proper age to do so yet and I would instead watch it on a small television in a friends apartment on Halloween night when it was played on HBO. Needless to say it scared the crap out of my friends and I. This trailer looks like it will deliver much of the same to those it initially unnerved so many years ago and its interesting to note that they seem to be discounting all of the films that came after “Halloween 2”. I will admit that they succeeded in giving me a startle during a couple of moments here so kudos on that. What do you think about this one? Are you counting down the days until Michael’s dread return? October is heading our way so let me know in the comments section below.
