Opening: “Alien: Covenant” in Theaters Everywhere (5/19/2017)

As previously discussed, a sequel of sorts is coming for “Prometheus” by way of “Alien: Covenant” and all of these things are still stories that happened way BEFORE the first “Alien” film. I posted the Official Trailer some time ago on THIS LINK and now my Xenomorph loving friends, the time for the opening of this film is here. Behold the Theatrical Release poster along with premise and casting. My two cents will close this up.

The Plot: Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant find what they believe to be an uncharted paradise. What the crew discover is a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. (thanks Wiki)

Some Cast:
Michael Fassbender as Walter and David
Katherine Waterston as Daniels
Billy Crudup
Danny McBride as the pilot of Covenant
Demián Bichir
Noomi Rapace as Dr. Elizabeth Shaw
Guy Pearce as Peter Weyland
James Franco as Branson
Amy Seimetz as Faris

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Thought I am a bit excited about what I’ve seen in that trailer myself, I don’t think that I am going to see this one on its opening since my feelings for the “Prometheus” film leave me afraid of a lot of the same old boring but with Aliens running rampant early in their creation. I will let the diehards go first and offer up their own critique and then decide whether its a matinee or a wait until it airs on HBO or a friend buys the home video and lets me borrow it. What say you in the readership? Are you seeing this today or very early in its opening weekend or are you also going to wait? Let me know in the comments section below. Until next time.
