Continuing on with sharing of the occasional press release about the massive NY Comic Con event I have this item that hit my mailbox only a couple of hours ago. NY Comic Con is just over a month away now and its gotten so big that they’ve been expanding outside of the Javits Center. I’ve already discussed the introduction of The Book Con as a side component of NYCC which you can see HERE in the event that you missed it. Last year I noticed a few panels being held at the relatively close Hammerstein Ballroom and now the folks at ReedPOP have disclosed the information about more panels happening at this venue. Check it out below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m generally not one for the panels because the time involved with lining up well in advance to be sure to get a space in the room costs me too much exploration time from the larger convention. I do like watching them afterward from the comfort of my own home since they are generally presented in full on an official or fan YouTube.com channel. I’m very interested in the “Ash Vs Evil Dead” panel but will not be able to sacrifice the kind of time needed to be a part of this one. Last year I noted just how long the lines were for an “Adventure Time” panel and I feel the popularity of “Ash” will find a similar case scenario. The rest I can learn about online when I am decompressing and going through the days photographs. I like the use of the Hammerstein Ballroom because its much larger than the Main Hall is at Javits and that means more and more fans can participate in the happening if they are interested. What do you readers think of these panels? Will you be lining up for any of them? Let me know in the comments section below. Now back to our regularly scheduled narratives 🙂
