Now Streaming: “Stranger Things” on Netflix (10/27/2017)

The show “Stranger Things” has become quite the hit across the interests of fans of Horror, Science Fiction and comic book stuff and beginning immediately on this date, the second season will be available for streaming on the Netflix service. Here’s the official season two poster which I’ve followed by the premise and some casting. Are you excited?

The Premise: Stranger Things is set in the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana, during the early 1980s. The nearby Hawkins National Laboratory ostensibly performs scientific research for the United States Department of Energy, but secretly does experiments into the paranormal and supernatural, including those that involve human test subjects. These start to affect the unknowing residents of Hawkins in calamitous ways.

The Cast/Characters:
Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers
David Harbour as Jim Hopper
Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler
Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven (“El”)
Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson
Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair
Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler
Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers
Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler
Matthew Modine as Martin Brenner
Noah Schnapp as Will Byers
Joe Keery as Steve Harrington
Sadie Sink as Max
Dacre Montgomery as Billy

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Please don’t get mad at me for this but I still haven’t managed to see the show. I need a good day to binge when nothing else is pulling at my schedule strings. It seems that there is always something else to do when I want a nice relaxing binge night with only the company of my cat and a pizza pie as company. Sigh. Even Skeleton Pete was shocked that I hadn’t seen this yet but alas there just hasn’t been the time. What about you readers? Have you watched this series yet? Will you be binging the second go round only moments after this post goes live? Let me know what you think but please no spoiler stuff since that sucks and I hate it. You can do that down in the comments section below of course.
