As you know by now, CBS All Access is the exclusive streaming service from the popular network and has so far given us series such as “Star Trek: Discovery” and “The Twilight Zone” and now we’ve come to the day where the latest premiere is happening with “Star Trek: Picard”. I’ve discussed this series on the website already so click HERE in case you are not up to date on the trailers and glimpses into what is in store for the Trekkies who are subscribing. Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard
Santiago Cabrera as Cristobal “Chris” Rios
Michelle Hurd as Rafaella “Raffi” Musiker

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve mentioned before that I am NOT a subscriber to the service and I maintain that I do not see myself becoming one soon. At this point in time I am finding that there are too darned many services to keep up with to enjoy the assorted franchises that I like the most. According what I’ve read, the limited commercials service costs Amazon Prime subscribers $5.99 a month while the spot free version is $9.99 a month and this all comes on top of your existing cable bill and any additional services you might currently have. Based on my other expenses each month, I am looking to cut my cable bill down a notch or two and this pains me because I love the “Star Trek” series and Picard was one of my favorites in the run of series. Closing up I wonder if the arrival of “Star Trek: Picard” has generated any interest in signing up for the service. Chime in down below.
