Now Streaming: Marvels “The Punisher” On Netflix (11/17/2017)

Eyes on the target. Steady. Now ready, aim, fire!!!! Sorry, I am getting a little carried away here and viewing the criminals of the world through the scope of Frank Castle who most of you already know goes by the often feared name…..”The Punisher”. This is the next in a series of entertaining series that have been airing on Netflix and while this one was briefly delayed its here now and available for immediate binge watching at the time of the post going online. Isn’t that awesome? Check out the official poster and premise and cast below, and I’ll close us up with some editorial at the end.

The Premise: Frank Castle, known throughout New York City as “the Punisher” after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his family, uncovers a larger conspiracy beyond what was done to him and his family. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to admit that I am looking forward to binging this one but I am not going to be able to do that right away based on the final US Appearance of HIM happening later on tonight in my metropolis AND the Anime NYC convention that I am attending all weekend. It’s a lot to do in a small amount of time but I am super excited about The Punisher becoming a part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sure we haven’t seen these characters interact between the small and large screen but there have been numerous inferences to their being in the same space of existence. These shows have been succeeding as well by having similar characters cross into other shows as we find the Night Nurse and Turk doing. As a lifelong comics fan this appeals to me greatly based on the continuity. So what about you? Are you hopped up for this one and will you be ordering a pizza and sitting through the whole thing right away? Don’t forget that “Justice League” also opens today at theaters near you. I’ll need to fit that one into my plans as well which I guess is going to have to wait until next week. That’s all I have for now. See you next time.
