PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m going to slightly repeat myself from the trailer post where I recounted that one of the earliest television memories that I have is with the original “Lost In Space” series which ran from 1965 to 1968. I wasn’t watching it as a newborn of course, but like the original “Batman” series these programs ran in syndication all the way back when I was a wee lad. Some of the “LIS” series remains sacred to me like the famous Robot but speaking truthfully, his look is very dated and needed an upgrade for today’s times. Speaking of changes, this time around the villainous Dr. Smith is a woman so lets see how that works out. I am not against any re-imagining of classics as long as they are done well and to be honest I’ve been pretty satisfied with how Netflix is delivering its programming so will gladly give this one a shot – when time allows of course. I’ve had such a pile of to do on my plate that I am behind on some movies that I wanted to see and there is a load of events coming my way so its going to be tricky. What do you readers think?
