Today is the release day for “Bill and Ted Face The Music”, the third adventure featuring those Wyld Stallions and given the climate of the world today, it is available On Demand as opposed to being in every theater in every neighborhood. I’ve kept this film as a topic on the website and it wasn’t too long ago that we shared the Official Second Trailer (click the text to see that). Considering just how much chaos is brewing out there with politics, civil unrest and of course the continuing Coronavirus Pandemic I think a film like this is absolutely necessary. Take a look at the poster, premise and casting down below.

Now enduring the monotony of middle-aged life, William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan are warned by a visitor from the future of the need for them to create a song in 78 minutes that will save all life on Earth and the entire universe. The pair work with their families, old friends, famous musicians, and each other to complete the task.

Note: Carlin, who died in 2008, appears through the use of repurposed archival footage from the first two films.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Having enjoyed the two earlier films and even fondly remembering the comic book series that Marvel Comics published many years ago, I was looking forward to some break the tension of the week fun that this film looked like it would provide. Now that the film will be On Demand and run between $20-$25 I will be taking a pass for the time being. I don’t like digital only movie purchases and prefer getting those onto my Vudu or Movies Anywhere when I have bought the Blu-ray version and it comes with a Digital Code as well. Though I am very interested in what has come to pass in the lives of Bill and Ted, I might be waiting for this to his my premium channels once its run has completed the cycle. What about you? Are you planning on dishing out the cash to get to see this one right away? Chime in down below. See you next time.
