New Year’s Music Resolutions For 2013: Part 6

“Six! Six! Six! – The number of the blog series posts la la la la”…..or something like that. Okay so I realize that was a slightly corny an intro but it’s New Year’s Eve 2012 and before I get ready to ring in the brand new one, I just had to get that next batch of quotations out for our “New Year’s Music Resolutions for 2013”. If for some reason you are only picking up with this right now, please know that you have walked in during the middle of the movie. Yep, the part where the Avengers are already fighting each other, where Batman is holed up in some faraway place and where Spider-Man is facing what amounts to be one of his deadliest foes, so you might want to start a few posts back. For those keeping track, welcome to Chapter Six – Let’s go…

1. Tom Morrisey (Killcode): Our resolution for 2013 is to capitalize on everything we’ve done since our inception. The band is ready to bring it to the next level and the shows in 2013 will only get BIGGER, LOUDER and BETTER! We can’t wait to get out on the road spreading the :::CODE:::!

2. Kyle Odell (Vanisher): I just want to meet new people and learn to better myself as a human being and musician. I hope for the best and am stoked for a busy year with the band.

3. Marcela Bovio (Stream Of Passion): My New Year music resolutions for 2013 are to finish writing and record the 4th Stream of Passion album (really excited about that!), and to work even harder to promote our music and go places where we’ve never been before.

4. Thadeus Gonzalez (Electric Sister): In 2013, I will be recording new solo music, playing new cities I’ve never played and looking for new collaborations for my vocals.

5. David DeFeis (Virgin Steele): To finish every project currently on my plate…including the next 3 VIRGIN STEELE albums”…

6. Eric Jayk (Wildstreet): My new year’s resolution for 2013 is that I will not accept any limitations for myself as an artist & as a person. Wildstreet will be finishing writing/recording our new record and then will be headed out on the road with an all new stage show. I unquestionably will be bringing my best to the studio and onstage this year and am looking forward to a killer year!

7. Bjoern Goosses (The Very End): Turning off the world by playing as many great shows as possible, hopefully playing our first European tour, too, and finally inventing a guitar riff that makes you drunk while listening.

8. Corey Pierce (God Forbid): My resolution is to play more Blues

9. Annamria Pinna (Vajra): “My New Years Music Resolution for 2013 Is to sit, listen, be open, reconnect and have fun!”

10. Tim Martinez (Tim #37): “My Music Resolution for 2013 is to finally bring HATE the HATE to Los Angeles. I’ve got alot of interest from alot of people in LA that want to make a difference and stand up against bullying and raise awareness for suicide prevention through the live concert experience. Also to continue to find amazing up and coming bands and artists that people should know about and make sure they hear about them!”

11. Kragen Lum (Prototype): To write and record as much new music as possible and get out on tour.

12. Dr. Mikannibal Sigh (Sigh): I hope you like it. My resolutions for 2013 are: 1. Have more sex on my ovulation days. 2. Make our European tour successful with a pregnant vocalist/saxophonist. 3. Use more blood and fire on stage. 4. Get a haircut. 5. Get a six-pack. 6. Learn how to become a good mother.

So in case you wondered about it, this post today has made us surpass the last years full run of quotes and that is awesome. Well, this also brings us to the final blog post for the year my friends but don’t worry I still have a few more chapters in this series to share with you all and I shall pick up where I left off with this with next year (or tomorrow; depending on how you are looking at it). Have a very safe and Happy New Year’s Eve my Metal Legions, I do hope you have some fun tonight but please be careful as well. I will see you next year 🙂
