High school isn’t the end of the world… until it is. In this post-apocalyptic, genre-bending series, the city of Glendale, California is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes who are kicking a** as they fight to survive in the wake of a nuclear blast (on the night of Homecoming…ugh). Following an eclectic group of survivors, as they navigate this strange and treacherous world, DAYBREAK is part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale. This Generation A series (A for Apocalypse! Get it?) is rated TV-MA. Participants include cast members Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Jeanté Godlock, Cody Kearsley and Gregory Kasyan; and executive producers Aron Eli Coleite, Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: For those in the unaware I’d like to announce that PiercingMetal will once again be attending the NY Comic Con as a member of the press. To see what you missed last year, just click HERE to enjoy all of the coverage. Now onto this news. Though I’ve been a subscriber to the Netflix service for quite a few years now, I’ve been very lax in keeping up with the shows that I enjoy quite a bit based on the healthy itinerary I am keeping here on this website and of course over on “The Chronicles Of Piercing Ken”. Though its likely a sore topic with their side of the fence, I really loved the Marvel collaborations despite their ending but onward and upward right? The time is now to give the geeks of the world even more coolness to enjoy. We’ve already gotten three seasons of “Stranger Things” and two of “Mindhunter” along with “Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance” and for the younger set “She-Ra” so I am confident that some interesting things will be coming steadily. I didn’t watch the first season of “Lost In Space” but some friends told me it was enjoyable so when I catch up on everything else I will look into watching that one. What do you readers think about these reveals from the streaming service? Will you be signing up if you are not doing so already and which of these new series are you looking forward to most. Chime in down below.
