Mondays are always great when they come with some sort of concert tour announcement and with this recent news by Metalcore sensations Miss May I, their fans are surely going to be pleased. Check out the poster, press release and dates and then I’ll return.

The Press Release:
Ohio-based Metalcore outfit MISS MAY I will make their highly awaited return to the road in North America. The band has announced their “Shadows Inside” headlining tour, which is set to begin in Canada with a week long run supported by Obey The Bray and Auras. Following their Canadian dates, Miss May I will embark on a month long trek in the U.S., with support coming from Upon A Burning Body, Kublai Khan & Currents. Speaking about these upcoming headlining shows, Miss May I lead vocalist, Levi Benton, states:

“We are so stoked to back out on tour after our longest time off ever doing this new record. Not only are we excited to be out but its our first time headlining in years! Its been a long time coming and because of that we are bringing so much more to these shows. The line up is stacked with great bands and our live show has so many more surprises and new songs. All this time really did was make Miss May I ready to put on shows to remember!”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Don’t get mad at me but this one is a complete education for me should I get to participate in their regional show. I’ve meant to catch MMI a number of times but the planning got shifted on me based on other agenda items in my way. So if I am able to figure out the clean slate for the NYC show you can count on my being there right in the frenzy with you (from a safe enough distance of course). So what do you fans think about this show? Is it something you are already geared up for? Let me know in the comments below.
