PiercingMetal Thoughts: It’s almost fitting that this next batch of “True Believers” issues feature the “Fantastic Four” and that I am sharing the information about them the day after Stan passing away. The team was the one that launched the Marvel Comics Universe and by the way, Lee’s famous quote was “Face Front True Believers” which makes these issues all the more special. Way back in the day, the “Fantastic Four” was always on top of my pile of titles that were being picked up each and every month. I loved the series and its sense if high adventure and lethal foes. Finding this series showcasing some of their most dastardly villains is going to make comic book readers start screaming for a Fantastic Four inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner than later. With the recent acquisition of 20th Century Fox, we just might get what we have been aching for in the next few years. Hey, I can wait – as long as they do it properly and not like the steaming pile of horse manure that was the 2015 film. The property is finally back where it belongs. Be sure to check your retailer about this because you are going to ask them to order a few copies of each for you so you can keep one set to read for your collection and then make some presents of complete sets for the younger reader in your world. After all, Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa are right around the corner and at one dollar each you can spend the money. I’m going to try and do some quick comic book reviews of these as well if the time permits since its always good to get content like that in place for you to enjoy. What do you think of this upcoming round of “True Believers”? Will you be purchasing? Chime in down below and if you haven’t see our memorial toast to Stan Lee please click HERE.
