Marvel Studios: “Avengers: Endgame” & “Captain Marvel” Super Bowl LIII Spots

So another Super Bowl is on the books as completed and yes, the New England Patriots bested the Los Angeles Rams for Super Bowl LIII in a very low scoring (and super boring) game, winning 13-3. Truth be told I’m not a sports fan at all but I tuned in sporadically to see what trailers might manifest. Considering that we’ve already recently got updated trailers for “Godzilla: King Of The Monsters” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, I was not expecting more than a tease of some kind with newer footage that we might not have seen somewhere else. Across the course of the game, we would get what were listed as “Big Game Spots” for both “Avengers: Endgame” and “Captain Marvel” and with the two clips barely surpassing a minute in length when played back to back, I’ve placed them both into a single post for your enjoyment. I’ve also added the premise for one and listed the cast in our tags as opposed to a rundown since there were too many people to type at this late hour.

The Premise: Nothing has been posted yet about what the premise for “Avengers: Endgame” actually is but its pretty safe to say that our heroes are going to be looking for ways to reverse “the snap” and give Thanos a taste of his own medicine.

The Premise: Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. (thanks Wiki).

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I’ve noted, these “Big Game Spots” were very brief and really didn’t feature enough for me to dissect so I will let the other folks on the web with their YouTube Channels the chance to offer up lengthy insight about each of them. Hopefully you watched these because I think it will help soothe your eyes after that horrific Super Bowl Halftime Show with Maroon 5 and Travis Scott. Maybe its the Metalhead in me talking but this made no sense together at all and it was just worlds of bad, but I digress. If your a music fan who thinks stuff like M5 kicks a$$ then I want to thank you for visiting our page however accidental it might have been. Short as they might have been they have succeeded in ramping up my interest in both films which I am hoping to see very early in their theatrical run. What did you think? Chime in down below and I will see you again soon. Remember to watch the Pop Culture side of the PiercingMetal fence to see a whole lot more of this kind of stuff since there is a lot coming down the pike that I don’t want you to miss.
