“I have been building towards WAR OF THE REALMS for the entire duration of my Thor run. So we’re talking six years and 80-something issues and counting,” teased Jason Aaron. “This is a war that covers the entire globe and involves the biggest heroes of the Marvel Universe, as you can see in this amazing promo piece by my MIGHTY THOR collaborators, Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson, who I’m so thrilled to be working with again on WAR OF THE REALMS.”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This sure does sound interesting but I might end up looking at it on the racks first before adding to my collection because the holidays are around the corner and the sad truth of life is that money is not something endless. Unless you are a Kardashian of course 🙁 – Generally speaking, with the assorted mini-series being released these days, I’ve been waiting for the collected edition to come out and while I know that’s not “as valuable” as the individual issues, it’s a space concern for me from time to time. I’m curious about the overall ramifications that such a story will have on long-standing titles once all is said and done but I shall say no more since April is a long, long time away. What do you think? Does this sound interesting to those of you who are hitting the comic book shop every week? Chime in down below in the comments. I’m expecting more announcements about this series so stay tuned to our Pop Culture section for this and much more.
