I don’t know about you but I am kind of amazed that we are already here in August. With that being said there are some really big items launching this month for the Marvel side of the fence and as in the past here are the first issues coming out this month. Images and the press copy come from their sources and I will close us out with some thoughts on the bunch. Here we go.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m probably going to get copies of each of the “Generations” issues since they are one-shots but it’s going to cost a pretty penny with each one being $5 a copy. That factor alone will most assuredly prevent me from doing my “second copy” of the assorted number 1 issues. It’s something that all the collectors are aware of more than the laymen. I am also quite interested in the Cinematic Universe guidebook in a collected edition format. I LOVED the original “Handbook Of The Marvel Universe” when it was published as issues (and much more so than when it was loose-binder fillable stuff. It is a tad pricey though and they’ve cited it as being “oversized”. Having seen the “Monsters Unleashed” oversized edition, it’s a little ridiculous in how massive the tome would be and I don’t have any place to store that one.
