Yes my dear friends in Geek, today is the first day of the 2014 NY Comic Con which is once again being held at the spacious Jacob Javits Center on the West Side of town. Normally I do one of these broadcasts the night before but with so many posts going up yesterday I set this one to be scheduled for the wee hours of the morning on the day of the Con. As you read this I am still sleeping since its post time was 12:30 in the morning. A little early for me for sure but with such a crazy schedule today and over the next three days that follow it, the more rest the better I can attend to these adventures. I’ve secured the proper Press Credentials this year and cannot wait to share all of my findings with you readers here on the PiercingMetal.com site.
Diehard attendees of the NY Comic Con know that it now runs four days and that passes to access this event have been sold out for weeks. Consider yourself lucky if you got one of the 4 Day Passes when they first went on sale. I go to all four of the days since I have the means to do so. During the course of the Comic Con, I will also be adventuring out to a number of exciting Metal and Hard Rock shows so my nights will be as busy as my days. After the convention this evening I have Judas Priest and I will be following that show with gigs by Within Temptation, X Japan and Lacuna Coil. Whew. The other thing that excites me about this years convention is that the coverage I do will go right here on the main site as opposed to where I once showcased it on our “PiercingMetal Musings Blog”. When I redeveloped and launched the website back in June, I took all of that wonderful content and integrated it right here on the new site. Now all of my creative presentations are here together and keeping you entertained without any need to continue to somewhere else.
Alright, its time for me to close this broadcast up and let you prepare your Cosplay if you are doing that or to get to the Javits nice and early to get a good spot on the line. Hope to see a lot of friends there this year and as always please stay tuned for the detailed coverage that will be offered up. My camera trigger finger is itching to shoot photographs and that is a very good thing for you.
