PiercingMetal Thoughts: Folks who’ve been paying mind to these comic book posts know full well that I love the Marvel Comics “True Believers” line of titles as they are also a dollar apiece and the rationale behind this appreciation is the fact that it helps bring a new reader into the hobby. The idea of getting a handful of comics for a buck each is awesome since the conventional cover price of today is anywhere from $2.99-$5.99 and that is hard for people to keep up with. I’m excited to get my hands on a clean reading copy of “Spawn” #1 and who doesn’t like a little bit of Matt Wagner’s “Mage”. This is the perfect way for a longtime comics fan to try out a new title as well. If you love it great and if you should hate it, you only invested a buck. That’s all I have for this one.
