In celebration of the Star Wars saga being released in a Hi-Definition digital format for the very first time, Hasbro Toys have issued six collectible action figure packages with each of them focusing on the various films across the franchise. Each set includes four distinct action figures related to that particular film and below you can see the six individual boxes as they stand on the shelves. I’ve been meaning to post these photos for a couple of weeks but got sidelined and felt that with it being “Star Wars Day” today that there was no better time to get this into your visual.
For the next group of shots I was able to slide the sealed figures out of the sleeve and place them side by side for your better examination. Here we go.
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace – Darth Maul, Queen Amidala, R2-D2 and Battle Droid
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones Jango Fett, Mace Windu, Clone Trooper and Super Battle Droid
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith – Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Darth Sidious
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope – Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO and Stormtrooper
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back – Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Bossk and IG-88
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi – Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Biker Scout and Wicket
If you set these packages up in a row on a shelf somewhere in your man (or woman) cave you see how nicely they will look if you have the complete set. Overall I liked this as an item to snag if you are the most ardent of Star Wars diehards and one of the things this reminded me of was the original four figure package that came out in 1977 as an “Early Bird” set. Examining these figures as a whole I have a slight issue about there being two renditions of Luke Skywalker and not a single Princess Leia in the mix anywhere. Perhaps they could have swapped one of the bounty hunters from “Empire Strikes Back” set since we already had the main bounty hunter here in Boba Fett.
At the end of the day this is a very nice set for collectors and you can find them on the shelves of outlets like Toys R Us or use our handy links below to order them on Amazon.com; That said, “May The Fourth Be With You”.

I agree with your comment about two Luke Skywalkers. There should be a Princess Leia. There are a few others I would have included – hopefully they will be released later.
