From Ashes To New Announces Headlining Dates

Hey Fiends, we are back once more with another touring announcement and this one features the guys in From Ashes To New. Take a look and please do so from the comfort of your air-conditioned home or office since its brutally hot and humid out there. Well, it is in NYC at least which is where we hang our media hat. I made the mistake of heading out on some errands and I couldn’t wait to get back home.

The Press Release:
Today, From Ashes to New have announced headlining tour dates, adding to their extensive fall schedule. The 16-date headline run will feature support from Badflower, Dead Girls Academy, and Killakoi. Pre-sale tickets with VIP packages are available now at

The story of From Ashes to New is truly that of pursuing a dream regardless of the obstacles that may arise. The band’s debut album Day One earned the band a Top 10 track at Active Rock radio with the single “Through It All”. Following an extensive album cycle, the band’s original drummer and co-vocalist both abruptly left the band. Rather than focusing on the setbacks, From Ashes to New forged ahead with a new energy and purpose. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based band, now comprised of frontman/rapper/programmer Matt Brandyberry, guitarist Lance Dowdle, vocalist Danny Case, and drummer Mat Madiro (Trivium) released their sophomore album, The Future earlier this year. The lead single, “Crazy” has seen the band return to the top of the Active Rock radio charts, where it currently is holding the #2 position.

In addition to their headline tour, From Ashes to New will be opening for Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin on their fall arena tour. The band will also be performing at several fall festivals, as well as providing direct support for Stone Sour and Papa Roach on select dates. All tour dates listed below. Presale tickets with VIP packages are on sale today, with general onsale beginning Friday, August 10th. For VIP packages, tickets and more information, visit the website at the close.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve seen the band with the aforementioned former members in place but never with the newer, more focused on being a foursome band so I am a tad bummed that there are no NYC dates to catch during the headlining run. For those who haven’t seen them in action there is a little bit of a Linkin Park thing meets Korn going on IMHO but maybe you will take something different away from them when you catch their show. I’ve not heard a single note of Badmotor, Dead Girls Academy or Killakoi but suggest that those in attendance arrive early enough to give the support a chance. You never know what wondrous performance you might witness. That’s all that I have to add about the matter and I wish the guys a solid tour. What do you readers think of this touring news? Let me know if you are among their ardent admirers or just one of the curious. I’d love to hear from you.
