Hello and welcome back once again to the continuing narratives from the 2016 American International Toy Fair. I’ve been getting so many amazing companies done here and I want to continue the process with this relatively short narrative that showcases some of the music related items that I chanced upon. Let’s quickly examine the offerings of Hal Leonard, Loog Guitars and Rockwood by Hohner Musical Instruments.
Hal Leonard is not only the place to get some of the best music tab books and lesson stuff but they also have some amazing collectible items such as playing cards, glassware and lunch boxes. I don’t think I need to tell you what first caught my eye at their booth do I?
I have to order that “Destroyer” magnet. Its one of my favorite KISS images of them all. Okay, pretty much anything KISS is going to be something that I want.
Now let’s head over to the booth being maintained by Loog Guitars. This was a fascinating company. The guitar is designed for the new player and very simple to use. It only has three strings and they have fashioned music tab to teach you to play. It needs some assembly but the parents or other older relative can help with that.
These last couple of images are from the Rockwood Instruments company.
I’ve been seeing their drums on display at Toy Fair for a number of years and while I’ve always used a shot or two in a spanning overview, I never aimed at sitting and focusing on the company. When I started to play the drums, it was an early age and I was given a toy set to make sure that I was actually interested in pursuing it. I don’t think that type of set would work with today’s demanding youth but this Rockwood kit by Hohner sure looked sweet.
I was debating asking if I could play them and let Skeleton Pete shoot a little video for me but it was very early in the morning and no one likes drums in the morning. I am including myself in that statement as well. Not before coffee at least. Lovely kit.
When I attend the event next year I’ll so a little more about each of these companies and perhaps include them on the PiercingKen.com coverage as well depending on what I see. That brings me to the end of this chapter but don’t worry there are still a bunch left to show you. Thanks as always for reading what we are putting out there.
