Yes ladies and gents we are back once again with another exciting and very colorful chapter of coverage from the 2017 NY Comic Con. As the title states, I am presenting the exploring from Day Two of the four-day event and up to its own second chapter. If you are only just joining us now, please click on THIS LINK as it will open a battery of content for you of the posts that have preceded this one. What better way to start than with “Pickle Rick” from “Rick and Morty”.
It was still early but I wanted to collect my thoughts and make some notes in the Press Room so there I was headed. Along the way I met a lovely Punisher who was also working her own medium.
While I made my way over to said Press Room, I wanted to address the question that I often get which wonders “Is NY Comic Con REALLY that crowded” and well, I think these few photos of the main floor from either said speak volumes.
Please bear in mind that the Saturday session of the event will make this look like an empty parking lot. Trust me.
Since we have presented a LOT of cosplayers in this chapter, I felt it would be nice to showcase some incredibly valuable comic books that one of the vendors had on display. Most of these are “bricked” and professionally graded.
Out in the area that is usually designated for bus and car service traffic, they had a number of displays and food trucks. This next few shots bring us to the High School of Ash to celebrate the return of his show.
I’m going to stop right here and do some other posts but will be back for sure tomorrow with another one. Stay tuned. Remember that during the course of the convention postings that I will be very active on our social networks so if you aren’t following us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you’ll want to get on point. We’d love to have you along with us in this sense if you cannot attend the convention or have friends who are dressed up. I also encourage supporting the website links below from the awesome folks that were discussed in this chapter.
An Update: In 2020, I began using our Official YouTube Channel a lot more and created gallery clips for our New York Comic Con content. Here is the Day Two video from the 2017 Convention which was created as a scroll back in time.
